Below we posted a few photos from the Soccer Club we just started up for local kids once a week. Right now we’re going on week 5, with roughly 10-12 kids each week. We’re hoping to have more and more kids join, but for now it’s been neat to be able to connect to the kids more personally cause there’s not very many of them. Two weeks ago we asked the kids who they thought had created them and created them with their specific soccer giftings. It was crazy to me that NONE of them had an answer. A group of kids that we can’t usually get to stop chattering were stumped. We started explaining to them that it was God that created them and their talents, and they all listened intently as we explained. It was such a confirmation for me that this ministry is SO needed. It’s easy to take these things for granted and just assume everyone knows these simple concepts. So, we get to start from the beginning with them and explain all about God, creation, Jesus and His love for us. We’re so excited to have this opportunity to share!
Thank you all for helping to make this possible and coming alongside us in our mission. We are so thankful for each and every one of you! Please keep these kiddos in your prayers that we can build deep relationships and trust that through that they will come to know Jesus in a deep and personal way.
